Shrimp Etouffee Cajun Style

Ingredients: ½ cup Corn Oil, ½ cup All Purpose Flour, 1 cup Green Peppers, ¼ cup Celery, 2 cloves Garlic (minced), 1 lb. Shrimp, 3 Chicken cubes or 2 cups Chicken Broth, 2 cups Water (use a little less if using chicken broth), ½ 2 tsp. Salt (or season to taste), ¼ tsp. Parsley

Put corn oil in iron pot. Blend in flour and cook to a rich brown. Be careful not to burn. Add onions, celery, green peppers, garlic, & parsley. Cook approximately 2 or 3 minutes. Then add shrimp. Stir often so that it doesn’t stick to the pot. Add water. Add seasonings to taste.
